8k run this morning. I had to resort to bringing along the music player (with its cheesy, non-ironic tunes) to see me out the door, but it was worth it. Watching the sun rise against a background of robin's egg blue sky is one of my favorite things to do. A beautiful experience for a Monday.
That would be pop, disco-pop, and extended dance mixes. Yeah... pretty embarrassing. Some of my faves are a 7-minute mix of the Killers' "Read My mind" and "The Pretender" by Foo Fighters. I also like anything by M.I.A. And from last winter's spin classes I picked up "Everybody Needs a Man" by Offer Nissim, a great dance song with a laughable sentiment and a hilarious video. You next! Fess up, sister!
